Draw at Triton Gives Sandburg Men’s Soccer Unbeaten Regular Season

The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team finished off an unbeaten regular season with a 0-0 draw at Triton on Monday afternoon.
Sandburg closed the regular season with a 4-0-1 record, its first unbeaten mark in school history. The Chargers and Tritons played 90 minutes to two overtime periods neither team able to break through with a goal.
Sandburg had nine shots in the game, with two going on goal. The Chargers had six corner kicks in the match.
The Chargers will open the Region IV tournament Saturday. The opponent, time and location have yet to be announced.
